Mark Prisk FRICS FRSA – President

Mark Prisk FRICS FRSA is a former MP and Minister of State. As the local MP for Hertford & Stortford, he actively supported several mental health charities, including the Samaritans and Mind.

Mark is a Non-Executive Director, Strategic Adviser and Executive Coach. He also mentors young people on a pro bono basis and is a Trustee of the Hertfordshire Festival of Music, which includes musical events for local people with dementia. 


Aubrey Holt – Founder and Director

Aubrey founded the CMHG in early 2022 after experiencing friends and family suffering with their mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aubrey is an active member of the Conservative Party and has previously been involved with several political and community organisations. Aubrey works on the CMHG’s daily operations and provides strategic oversight across the organisation’s work.

Lewis Gosling – Deputy Director

Lewis is pleased to work as the CMHG Deputy Director, having joined the CMHG in June 2022. Lewis is currently serving as a Councillor on Portsmouth City Council. Lewis has always been a passionate advocate for mental health and has a passion for making sure everyone has access to the tools needed to succeed in life.

Danny Bowman FRSA – Research and Communications Lead

Danny Bowman FRSA is a PhD Researcher, Chair of MaleVoicED and the CMHG Research and Communications Lead. He has previously held roles as the Director of Mental Health and Head of Campaigns at the Parliament Street think-tank. He has also engaged with No.10 and governmental departments on mental health.

Danny is passionate about mental health, having experienced his own issues as a teenager. His story went viral in 2014 appearing in Time Magazine, The Telegraph and The Times. He has also told his story on Good Morning Britain, Sky News and ABC 2020. He is determined to increase awareness and improve care for those with mental health disorders.

Bradley Powell – Clinical and Policy Lead

Bradley will qualify as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology in 2024. He is currently working in parliament developing policy-making skills. He is experienced in delivering evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for a variety of mental health difficulties. He is skilled in clinical and service-related research and has published in peer-reviewed journals. His current research involves assessing the psychological impact of multiple sclerosis, with a view to increasing psychological provision for neurological conditions. Before his doctoral training, Bradley supported the national expansion of the psychological professions workforce.

Luke Michael Ironside – Treasurer

Luke is the Treasurer for the CMHG. He has a keen interest in mental health, having previously worked as a mental health professional in New Zealand. Luke studied mental health at Unitec Institute of Technology and advocates for greater awareness of disorders among the public and in politics. 

Currently residing in Brazil, though maintaining close ties to his home in West Sussex, Luke is a member of Conservatives Abroad and is actively involved with the Conservative Policy Forum.
