Roundtable with Maria Caulfield, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health and Women’s Health Strategy

In October 2023, the CMHG held an engaging roundtable discussion with Maria Caulfield, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health and Women’s Health Strategy in Parliament. It was truly enlightening to hear Minister Caulfield share insights into the Government’s ongoing mental health initiatives and vision. The presence and active participation of so many CMHG members at the event made it even more enriching.

Successful Rethink Mental Illness Fundraiser

In September 2023, the CMHG held a fundraising event with Danny Bowman at the Carlton Club for the brilliant Charity Rethink Mental Illness. With the incredible support of CMHG members and supporters, Danny and the CMHG were able to raise a substantial sum for Rethink Mental Illness. The event saw great speeches from Chloe Westley, William Wragg MP, Dr Luke Evans MP, Aubrey Holt, and Danny Bowman, alongside insightful discussions from many CMHG members.

Conservative Mental Health Group at North East Party Conference

In December 2022, the CMHG held their annual Christmas reception in Westminister. It was a great chance to meet many passionate CMHG members, Conservative MPs and members of the mental health community. We would like to make a special thank you to Duncan Baker MP and the brilliant charity Mind for their support.
